PURO Hotel is a new hotel chain whose first hotel is being built at 6 Wlodkowica Street, Wroclaw, Poland. The opening of the Wroclaw hotel is planned for the first quarter of 2011. There will be subsequent hotels opening in Krakow and Warsaw. PURO Hotel’s introduction to the Polish market brings with it a new service quality, where a comfortable stay is offered at very attractive rates.

Polish Tourist Organisation belongs to the group of more than 200 national tourism institutions operating world-wide. Our goal is to promote Poland as a country attractive for tourists, a modern travel destination, offering high standard of services and tempting prices. We conduct our activities in the aspect of promotion and development of Polish tourism both on a national level, as well as abroad.
We are a government agency supporting entities operating in the tourist sector. We organise national booths during biggest domestic and foreign tourist fair, which are events for the representatives of the sector and local government.
Polish Tourist Organisation has got its representative offices located in 14 countries, which renders possible to familiarise with the specific character of different countries and plan our promotional campaigns in the way reflecting the individual needs of specific markets. We co-operate with regional and local tourist organisations. We undertake jointly activities targeted at the increase of interest in the Polish cities, regions and tourist products among domestic and foreign tourists. We organise several promotional events, seminars, training and publish promotional materials about Poland. PTO brochures are published in 12 different language versions. They promote adventure trips, business travels, holiday resorts; they present tourist attractions of Polish cities and regions, including the monuments from UNESCO list, as well as other local curious details, which can be interesting for a potential tourist.
Increasing Poland’s competitiveness on the international tourist market is related to the analysis of trends in world tourism and therefore we co-operate with international organisations from the tourist sector. Knowledge of tendencies governing the global tourist market allows us appoint priorities in the Polish tourism.
We participate in the development of activities of Conferences and Congresses Bureau, which aims at increasing the popularity of business travels, dynamically developing world-wide. We also implement modern IT solutions in the tourist sector, such as Internet-based System of Tourist Information (ISTI), which in future is going to become a national database of all entities operating in the tourist sector.
