Report from the e-Travel Forum 2011 conference

The forth e-Travel Forum International conference has been finished on 28th of January 2011. This annual meeting of the internet travel sales experts, took place at Radison Blu hotel. 200 participants have been registered.

“e-Travel Forum International conference confirmed its position and value as the most venue of the discussion among professionals of the e-commerce. Such a numerous attendance confirms that this conference is developing and has good perspectives” Mr. Ireneusz Marganiec Chairman of Amadeus group said.

The first day started with the opening speech of Mr. Marganiec followed by 30 minutes presentation on influence of the latest technology development on the tourism market held by Gilles Karle of Amadeus. Next point of the agenda was the panel discussion hosted by Mrs. Barbara Berndt from PURO Hotels of group purchase where the participants were Mr. Marcin Szałek from Groupon and the representatives of hotels who used Groupon Services while selling their offer.
